The mobile phone may be used to realize the most common operations as making or receiving phone calls, but it may be also used to get different information or entertain itself and have fun. The majority of the users that connect to internet from the cell phone, does it in order to download ringtones, music or to play video-games. There are not so many internet users from mobile phone that use it as to get information, but this depends on the age of the persons using this service.

The first step in the introduction of new offers of innovative services, as the increase of the methods of internet access, would be to create a base of clients for the traditional services of information and voice transmission. The internet user should pay depending on the downloaded contents and the service that had used. The cell phones manufacturers are creating new models of phones that have incorporated internet access and e-mail. These mobile phones, called also of third generation (3G) have the same speed of connexion to internet as the ADSL, due to its UMTS connexions (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System).
